Dance Photoshoot
Get ready for your Dance Photoshoot!
Does your child dance and wish to experiment with their moves?
I am a budding portrait photographer looking at expanding into the realm of dance photography! I grew up dancing at D.C. Dance Studios in Lebanon and have a great love for ballet, tap, lyrical, you name it!
I know it’s a tough time right now, but giving your child this opportunity to capture this period in their life will be something they can cherish for the rest of their lives!
What’s included?
$10 per Child
To participate in this session, I am asking for $10/child as I build my repertoire and portfolio in dance photography.
With this photoshoot, you will receive:
All edited digital images
An online photo gallery to download from
Each child will get at least 30 minutes of shooting time
CREATIVE VISION
The photos below are the poses I have in mind for this photoshoot. Look through them and talk with your child about what would be best and what they are willing to try!

What does your child need?
All your child needs is:
Hair and makeup done.
(This should be done before your scheduled timeslot. I know this is after classes for some of the dancers, so if they need a break to rest or get ready, please take the time for this)
Their leotard and tights and any shoes they may need (ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, etc)
If you have a costume or dress which has a loose/flowy skirt please consider your child bringing this with them! It will make for a creative and dramatic shot!
If you have already filled one out, please bring the Minor Model Release form. If you did not receive this or have lost it, I will have extras on the day of the photoshoot.
Meet your photographer
Elizabeth Pruitt
I love dance in all of its forms. One of the things I have wanted to explore since picking up a camera is dance photography. Since graduating high school and leaving D.C. Dance, and even before, I have returned each year to take photos at each recital. Looking back at the photos I took and finding that perfect shot of a leap or turn has been a very gratifying feeling every time.
